Dave & Julie are a young-at-heart duo with over 30 years' experience
of singing traditional & self-penned songs, as well as 15 years
playing for dancing with The Little Band.
Dave began writing songs with his late father John, mostly about life
& work on Grimsby docks & the fishing trade, then continued to
produce songs covering many subjects that have since been taken
up by other singers, notably:
Vin Garbutt (The Forty Thieves)
John Conolly (Camping Nights & Roving Days)
Bill Whaley & Dave Fletcher (My Darling Girl)
Johnny Collins (The North Wall)
The Yetties (Come Stranger Come Friend / Dorset Forearm Smash)
